"But there is no doubt in my mind, and I believe by the end of the trial there will be little doubt in yours, that these 2 men, James King and Steven Harmon, were all part of the robbery that caused the death of Alguinaldo Nesbitt. Thank you."
This is a quote from the book
Monsters written by the one and only Walter Dean Myers. This entire quote is on the page 25 at the bottom. Since my book doesn't really have chapters it was hard to find a good quote but I think this was a great quote because it shows how Steven doesn't win his jury and that he will have to pay the price for his actions. It also shows that he will have to endure any pain thrown at him and makes the book more interesting to read. It gives a plot twist. If the writer didn't make this plot twist then it will probably be the end to this book and that won't be that interesting to read.
Since I have finished this book I will say it was very interesting how the book was writen and to see the main character change as the book went on. In the beginning it didn't really tell me about how he got in jail but as the story continued it became more clear to me what happened.
